Since 2022 I am actively competing in HYROX, including the world championships in Las Vegas, coming in 17th overall.

I strive to help people from all walks of life improve their fitness and health through a performance focused program and show them how much fun it can be within our positive, inclusive and motivating Tahi community.

“I am passionate about helping people succeed in their fitness journey!”

I am an Indonesian-American living in Basel since 2020, and am excited to be a part of Team Tahi.

Sports and fitness have always been a part of my life, from high school varsity to college intramural to urban leagues. My favorite sports are volleyball, running, and obstacle course races, and I discovered CrossFit in 2016. I’m now super hooked on functional fitness! I have a CrossFit Level 1 and 2 Certificate, and love sharing my knowledge, and experience to help people find their fitness in our amazing and supportive Tahi community.

CrossFit Coach

“The most gratifying part of coaching is seeing the mental and physical evolution within the community, giving the members the right tools they will apply to succeed in their everyday life”

I am a Spaniard living in Basel since 2018 and proud Tahi Coach since the end of 2021.

I’ve played a great variety of sports in my life, mainly football (“Hala Madrid”). Found CrossFit in early 2015 and it totally changed my point of view regarding human performance and the importance of movement and nutrition: it doesn’t need to be complicated in order to be effective. I have a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate and am very much looking forward to helping anyone reach their full potential, in the gym or in their daily life!

"Fitness should be part of our each daily habits in life, same as eating or sleeping"

I'm from the south of France and arrived in Basel in 2019.With swimming as main sport background, I started practicing CrossFit in early 2013 in Belgium where I got very addicted by the life mindset. I’ve participated in CrossFit competitions as volunteer first, then moved to competing and got my CrossFit level 1 trainer certificate most recently.

I’m a father of a young daughter, balancing working life and my passion for fitness. I’m always glad to help people improve their fitness to the next level and share how to manage and navigate outside your comfort zone.

Cindy

Yoga Coach

“My goal is make every person I work with FEEL like their absolute Best Self.”

I am a born and raised New York City girl currently living in Basel and part of the Tahi community since 2021. I was not your traditional “athlete” growing up. I wasn’t into sports and I was one of the many who was into “fitness” for the mere aesthetics of it. It wasn’t until I got older and started a family that I realized I needed fitness in order to feel my best - mentally and emotionally. I discovered CrossFit in 2017 and began a more consistent yoga practice alongside with it. Combining Yoga and strength training has been the best thing that ever happened to me and it is something that I love to share with others. I loved it so much I founded SOULFIT THEORY, a fitness/wellness company that focuses on nutrition, Yoga/mindfulness and strength work. Being a coach and witness to an individual’s evolution into stronger and healthier versions of themselves is such a gift!

I am a certified Vinyasa Yoga instructor, Nutrition Coach, NASM Personal Trainer, CrossFit Level 1 Coach with additional certifications in group fitness training and pre/post natal.

Lea

Tahi Kids Coach

“Kids should learn from an early age on that being physically active can and should be fun. I am happy to make fitness fun for them!”

I have been passionate about sports all my life, most of all about football. Having played at the highest level in Switzerland and then at university level in the United States, I soon realised the importance of not only working on your skills and endurance on the pitch, but also on your strength and fitness in the gym - so after my more active football years, I ended up with CrossFit in 2016.

Through my work in a foundation working in sports for protection, as well as through my experience as a children’s football coach, I have found that not only is it important for kids to be physically active, but that they can learn so much more than just the sports skills and becoming fitter in a training: They can make friends, learn values, improve social and cognitive skills and how to deal with and express emotions. Through Tahi Kids, I want to give children the chance to create a positive relationship with fitness while learning skills for life.
